Full Circle Moments: A Love Story That Started in the Halls I Now Teach In

Some sessions feel like fate—like all the little moments in life align just right to bring people together. This engagement session was one of those moments.



These two are high school sweethearts who met in the very halls of the school where I now teach. Even though our paths never crossed back then, life had its own way of weaving our stories together. It’s a small world, isn’t it?

From Kansas to Georgia

Hearing about their journey was such a gift—from the start of their relationship in high school to their big move to Georgia, to now celebrating their next chapter together. Their story is one of growth, commitment, and the kind of love that only deepens with time. And getting to witness that firsthand, through the way they look at each other, the way they laugh together, and the way they quietly support one another—it was nothing short of beautiful.

Every moment of this session felt special. Sweet. Genuine. From the way he reached for her hand without thinking, to the way she smiled up at him like he was home. It was clear that this was more than just an engagement shoot—it was a celebration of a love that has already weathered seasons and is only growing stronger.



I’m so thankful our paths crossed. To have the honor of documenting a love story that started long before I knew them, and to now be part of preserving a piece of that story—it’s something I’ll never take for granted.
